Director of Cloud Services Delivery & Operations

New opportunity for a senior leader to oversee the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of cloud services across internal and external clients. This role will lead a team of cloud professionals, managing multi‑cloud environments (primarily Azure and AWS) and ensuring reliable, resilient, and efficient service delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and grow the Cloud Services business area, aligning it with organisational strategy and customer needs.
• Manage the performance, development, and succession planning of your team.
• Standardise and continuously improve cloud service delivery to ensure predictable, high‑quality outcomes.
• Collaborate across the organisation to integrate cloud and on‑premise services seamlessly.
• Drive operational excellence, cost‑effective delivery, and adherence to security and governance policies.
• Provide clear reporting and insights to stakeholders, acting as a senior point of escalation for cloud operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain a modern, scalable cloud service.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Experience with operational governance, financial management, and cloud FinOps.
• Ability to analyse trends, prioritise initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
