Overview

Publicis Groupe is seeking an Influencer Marketing Activation Director to lead influencer campaign execution for a globally recognized client with a portfolio of iconic brands across Snacking, Petcare, and Food & Nutrition.

This is a rare opportunity to join a bespoke, integrated agency team at the heart of our client’s marketing transformation journey. You’ll play a key role in delivering best-in-class influencer activations across Europe — helping to future-proof the client’s business as part of Publicis’ Power of One model, which unites media, production, data & tech, social, influencer, and commerce to create end-to-end PESO experiences.

You’ll oversee influencer partnerships for the Pets portfolio across the UK and EU, ensuring creative excellence, flawless execution, and measurable impact.

The global team spans 70+ markets, all working with one shared vision: To build a better today, for tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead and manage the Influencer Talent team (three direct reports) to deliver influencer campaigns across UK and EU markets.
  • Act as the primary client contact for all local influencer activations — ensuring alignment, communication, and accountability across markets.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution: briefing, talent selection, content approvals, compliance, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Maintain high-quality standards across all influencer partnerships and ensure adherence to brand and legal guidelines.

Strategy & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Influencer Strategy Director and PNE Hub Lead to translate strategic objectives into effective activations.
  • Coordinate with the Paid Social Hub to integrate influencer boosting strategies and optimize content performance.
  • Support in the development of the PCA (Post-Campaign Analysis) and continuous improvement of influencer programs.

Innovation & Industry Leadership

  • Stay ahead of creator culture and platform trends to ensure activations remain cutting-edge and relevant.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with influencers, creators, and agencies across markets.
  • Contribute to innovation workshops, best-practice frameworks, and ongoing thought leadership within the influencer and creator space.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in influencer, talent, or social media management — ideally within an agency or global brand environment.
  • Deep understanding of creator ecosystems, social platforms, and influencer marketing best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale activations across multiple markets.
  • Strong background in talent management, negotiation, and relationship building with influencers and creators.
  • Confident communicator — able to engage with senior clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail, organization, and quality assurance.
  • Experience with influencer and content management platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Traackr, or Tagger) preferred.
  • Passion for innovation, creativity, and the evolving influencer landscape.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and mentor a team to deliver operational excellence and professional growth.
