Research and Insights Manager

Overview

Our client is a leading international law firm known for delivering innovative, high-profile work. They operate at the cutting edge of complex transactions, regulatory analysis, and strategic market engagement. You’ll be part of a small but high-impact Research & Insight team within the Business Development function.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secondary research, drawing insights from multiple sources, and synthesise them into sharp, actionable reports and presentations.
• Analyse M&A trends and market characteristics to identify opportunities.
• Research the effects of new regulations on specific sectors.
• Support regional thought leadership pieces on relevant topics.
• Use pricing data to explore the viability of entering new markets.
• Collaborate closely with BD, marketing, and senior stakeholders to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional services, consulting, or banking with a solid understanding of M&A markets.
• Experience with platforms such as S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or Mergermarket.
• Strong ability to analyse data and craft compelling narratives.
