Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the problems you are solving. Go deep into the science, get hands on with the product, and effectively leverage our panel of experts across and around the business to understand the space better than anyone else.
- Be responsible for tailoring every aspect of the patient experience to the context of the surface area you are working on (eg. localising an offering to a new market).
- Track and report performance metrics, and implement strategies to drive your new vertical towards functional maturity or decide to stop investing.
- Get stuck in – write emails, find partners, deliver a white‑glove experience to patients, and then scale yourself out of this role by hiring and managing cross‑functional resources to scale experiments you are responsible for.
- Drive focus, accountability and motivation across the team through rituals, reporting and stakeholder updates.
Career Path
- Month 1‑4: First rotation in either Growth, Product, Operations or BizOps.
- Month 5‑8: Second rotation in a different team. By the end of your first two rotations, you will have developed the mindset and skillset for how we think about building great experiences for patients, and how we think about building a great company.
- Month 9+ : Take the Eucalyptus playbook and step into one of our launches to build something from 0 to 1.
- New Markets – launch one of our brands into a new country.
- New Brands – launch a brand, targeting a specific demographic, in an existing market.
- New Distribution Channels – launch a new channel for providing patients with care (eg. B2B partnerships; referral programmes; etc.).
- New Product Lines – launch a new product or treatment for a new medical condition.
Qualifications and Experience
- You have between 3‑5 years experience working in a high pressure environment such as law, consulting (MBB preferred) or investment banking, and we will prioritise candidates who also have between 3‑5 years working as an operator, preferably in a recent high growth startup.
- You have built a team, managed people or delivered complex cross‑functional projects, and you are a demanding and supportive leader who makes decisions objectively and carries them out with empathy.
- Creative problem‑solver and detail oriented: You are highly organised, not fazed by complex or ambitious problems, can think critically, break down big goals into smaller workstreams, and design, manage and scale processes while ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
- Accountable to the numbers: You are highly literate both financially and in operational data, and have a strong understanding of the metrics that matter across a variety of business functions; you build systems that hold yourself and others accountable to the numbers.
- Communicate with clarity: You communicate incisively and honestly, synthesising complex concepts into clear insights and narratives that resonate with a broad audience.
- Executional powerhouse: Strategy is simple; achieving it through flawless execution is what’s hard. You are not afraid to lead from the front, and get your hands dirty when it matters.
Behaviours & Attitudes
- You act like an owner, and a servant leader: You have a charismatic ‘can do’ attitude, are motivated by impact, and go the extra mile to create outcomes for your team, stakeholders and patients.
- Relentlessly ambitious: You set audacious goals, rally the team to chase them, celebrate wins, and do it all over again.
- Craving for curiosity: You are self‑motivated to understand the reasons behind the numbers, interrogate systems deeply when metrics are off track and seek to understand whether successes can be replicated.
- Calm, collected and resilient: You thrive in a fast‑paced, chaotic startup environment, balancing quality with velocity, prioritising and managing multiple projects to deliver growth results.
- Desire to develop others and yourself: You foster a strong desire to learn and develop, adapt quickly, and seek feedback to improve.
