Job Overview

Blackstone’s Private Equity group offers off‑cycle interns the opportunity to engage in the direct acquisition of large and midsized companies in a variety of sectors worldwide. The internship explores the investment process by developing both financial banking skills and strategic management thinking, providing a well‑rounded business experience.

Responsibilities

  • Financial analysis and modelling
  • Investment research
  • Competitive analysis
  • Assistance in the execution of transactions
  • Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
  • Communications with portfolio company senior management

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting and finance concepts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with dynamic roles and willingness to contribute to a positive culture
  • Firm commitment to personal and professional development
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or masters student or having just graduated

Additional Requirements

  • CV must include expected graduation month/year and grade and should be in PDF format
  • Must be able to start between September/October 2026 and be available for up to six months
