Tech Director

We’re building London’s most loved product studio and we’re looking for a Tech Director to help lead the way.

Location & Working Model

Hybrid: 2‑3 days per week in our Hoxton studio. Remote work is also possible.

Responsibilities

  • Driving end‑to‑end technical leadership and oversight of high‑impact projects, shaping strategy, and coaching teams.
  • Growing the business with the leadership team, building strong relationships with clients as a technical partner.
  • Leading strategic architecture decisions and technical strategy across projects.
  • Coaching and mentoring 2–3 engineering teams.
  • Contributing to high‑level technical direction and product vision.
  • Winning new business, including origination, proposal writing, pitching and early‑stage workshops.
  • Ensuring you’re an essential technical partner to senior clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years in agency/consultancy or similar, experience leading complex, challenging projects.
  • Strong technical architecture, systems, and AI knowledge.
  • Experience with React (Native), TypeScript, GraphQL, Cloud.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable talking to C‑suite and engineering teams.
  • Experience in project management, including budgets and resourcing.
  • Ability to build and coach high‑performing teams.
  • Experience with emerging AI technologies such as LLMs, agents, AI‑enhanced workflows is a plus.
