Senior/Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer – Outside of IR35

Join Kent as a Senior/Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer handling concept, pre‑FEED and FEED projects in Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind and Low‑Carbon sectors.

Scope of Work

• Control & Instrumentation design reports for concept, pre‑FEED and FEED stages
• Reviewed and approved Control & Instrumentation specifications and datasheets
• Vendor technical evaluation reports
• Provide input and assistance for project progress tracking and reporting
• Contribution to multi‑discipline engineering reports
• Execute assigned tasks and work areas as directed by the Lead or Principal Engineer
• Verify compliance with client specifications and recommend cost‑effective solutions within defined requirements

Key Requirements

• All queries should be directed to the client’s designated technical authority
• Instrument and Control or Electrical Engineering degree (honours or equivalent) or other relevant engineering discipline
• Chartered status (or working towards) is considered advantageous
• Communication will be via agreed channels without day‑to‑day supervision
