Lead Engineer

Overview

Lead Engineer – Bellshill Dairy (Permanent). 42 hours per week – pitman rotation. Join Mller as a Lead Engineer at our Bellshill site, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. This is a permanent position working a Pitman shift rotation (days and nights), ideal for a multi-skilled engineer ready to step into a leadership role.

What you’ll do

• Act as the engineering point of contact out of hours (nights/weekends)
• Lead and prioritise maintenance tasks across the shift
• Ensure compliance with CMMS and maintenance plans
• Manage shift handovers and escalate issues as needed
• Support absence management and return-to-work processes
• Maintain high standards in workshop and ancillary areas

What you’ll bring

• Time-served apprenticeship and multi-skilled maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of CMMS, LOTO, PTW, and contractor control
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Basic leadership experience and a proactive mindset
