Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Structural Engineer – Aberdeen, UK. The role requires both onshore and offshore work. The position is temporary for 6 months (TBC) with a negotiable rate and includes offshore uplifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering support for offshore/onshore project scopes.
• Review and develop structural engineering deliverables.
• Support drilling‑related engineering requirements.
• Liaise with project, engineering and offshore teams to ensure technical alignment.
• Ensure structural design and engineering work is completed in line with client and project standards.
• Support technical reviews, problem‑solving and project delivery activities.

Qualifications

• Senior‑level structural engineering experience.
• Proven drilling experience (essential).
• Previous experience in offshore or energy project environments.
• Valid offshore certification (mandatory).
• Strong technical review and engineering delivery capability.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multi‑discipline teams.
