NRL are offering exciting opportunities for Principal EC&I Engineers at our leading client, Tenet Consultants Ltd. Tenet Consultants is an innovative multi‑discipline engineering and design consultancy headquartered in Warrington, specialising in nuclear and other highly regulated industries.

EC&I Design Activities

• Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies
• Electrical distribution systems
• E&I building services
• Programmable electronic systems (PES)
• Process control systems
• Fire alarm design & integration
• Normal & emergency lighting
• Cameras and security
• Alarm systems
• Asset care
• Functional safety

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear.
• HNC minimum, ideally a degree qualification and a Chartered Engineer status.
• Able to lead teams and develop junior engineers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical oversight.
• Design according to the IET 18th edition (BS7671).
• Conversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. AutoCAD, CAESAR, PDMS).
• Fluent in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• All candidates must be able to obtain BPSS clearance as a minimum.
