Pay: £400 per day

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: 6 Month Contract

Project Start: Immediate Project Start – End of May 2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major geotechnical and civil engineering renewal scheme in the South West. This is a site-based role working on a high-value infrastructure project, with some office-based work around Bristol and occasional home working available.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering delivery across site operations
• Production and management of:
• Material approvals
• ITPs
• Red line drawings
• WPPs and RAMs
• Client coordination and attendance at site meetings
• Manage and mentor junior engineers
• Carry out setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment where required
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements

Note: Some weekend and night working may be required. A 24/7 possession period is scheduled from 06/07/26 – 03/08/26, therefore flexibility around shifts is essential during this phase.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience within civil engineering/infrastructure projects
• Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
• HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering
• ICE membership (Graduate, IEng or MICE desirable)
• SMSTS
• TWC CITB Ticket
• Strong communication and leadership skills

• PTS (Rail)
• Appointed Person (AP)
• ALO Planner / Coordinator / Responsible Manager
