Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Weight Control Engineer to join their UK engineering team. The role involves supporting offshore structure projects across oil & gas, renewables, and carbon capture.

Job Title: Senior Weight Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead weight control activities for offshore facilities across all project phases (greenfield and brownfield).




• Develop and maintain weight control reports and databases for jackets, decks, and foundations.




• Monitor and forecast weight trends to support design integrity and project delivery.




• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on design standards and weight requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in weight control across offshore engineering projects.




• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ISO 19901-5).




• Familiarity with weight trends, discipline interfaces, and typical design values.




• Previous experience in multi-disciplinary project environments.
