Active Schools Cycling Programme – Falkirk

Help children build confidence through our new adaptive bike program – join our volunteer team!

Key tasks include

We would like our volunteers to support this program by either walking around and supporting the families/schools or perhaps ride alongside them encouraging them along the way. You will work with children with disabilities and additional support needs encouraging the pupils to participate. We would be hoping volunteers would be able to commit to 1 – 3 hours per week with the potential to be involved with extra sessions for events.

Skills you will develop

• Leadership and coaching qualifications.
• Disability inclusion training.
• Gain hands on experience in working with others.

No experience is needed we will give you training on the bikes and a full PVG will be provided to support the program.
