You will be working in the Infrastructure OU based in London responsible for bringing design, build and refurbishment excellence to complex civil engineering projects nationwide – combining technical expertise with a passion for creating lasting value for people and places.
Responsibilities
- Produce preliminary estimates and assess staffing levels for commercial and production staff.
- Understand business core objectives and create or maintain networking opportunities.
- Set a commercial strategy that sets challenging financial targets that achieve the best case gross project margin and where possible outperform targets.
- Monitor and manage procurement procedures for the package scope, quantification, tender method, negotiation and subcontract documentation.
- Monitor and manage the Design Change Management philosophy in accordance with the Project Strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience working on large projects, ideally within a rail environment.
- Good working knowledge of NEC contract and commercial law.
- Experience of working in rail projects desirable.
- MRICS or CICES desirable.
- Degree or equivalent in a commercial related subject.
- Experience managing commercial teams of 5+ members.
