Job Description:

PMO Manager to join Strategy & Transformation team. This role sits within the project delivery function and will play a key role in driving governance, delivery standards, and continuous improvement across a portfolio of programmes. Global law firm looking to hire an experienced PMO Manager to join their Strategy & Transformation team.

About the Role

Reporting into the Head of Project Delivery, you’ll be responsible for overseeing PMO activities across complex initiatives, ensuring strong governance, consistency, and high-quality delivery. This is not a “maintenance” PMO role – they’re looking for someone who can actively contribute to improving processes, frameworks, and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive PMO governance across programmes and projects
  • Ensure consistent delivery standards, reporting, and controls
  • Support end-to-end project delivery frameworks
  • Work closely with Project Managers and senior stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements across PMO and delivery
  • Provide insight and reporting to support decision-making

Key Requirements

  • Strong PMO leadership experience within the legal sector (essential)
  • Solid project delivery background with end-to-end lifecycle knowledge
  • Experience working in similar-sized law firms or complex environments
  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, and reporting
  • Ability to drive improvements and add value beyond BAU
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
