The team maintains open communication with families, welcoming questions and providing regular updates on each child’s progress.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Manager role based in Nottingham. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and continuously improve quality standards across nurseries and clubs, ensuring compliance with Ofsted requirements and internal policies. This role will involve conducting regular audits and inspections, reviewing documentation, and monitoring safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare practices. The Quality Assurance Manager will develop and implement quality frameworks, policies, and procedures, and provide guidance and training to managers and staff to drive best practice. The role includes analyzing performance data, preparing reports for senior leadership, supporting action plans for improvement, and collaborating with operational teams to enhance children’s experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or compliance within childcare, education, or a related regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, and health and safety standards in childcare settings.
  • Excellent skills in auditing, report writing, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Effective communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and support diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites, manage priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Relevant childcare, education, or quality management qualification (e.g., Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare, education, or a related field); higher-level or QA-specific qualifications are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, child-centered practice and to promoting equality, diversity, and non-discriminatory care.
