Retail Security Officer – M&S

Location: M&S Store, Ashdown Business Park, Uckfield, TN22 2DU

Salary: £13.96 per hour

Hours: Guaranteed 40+ hours per week

Track record: Candidate must have 5 years trackable working history in the UK.

Qualifications

• Security experience essential.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication, energy, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and legal requirements.
• Use technology (body‑worn cameras, mobile devices) for effective reporting.
• Proactively review and improve Assignment Instructions.
• Remain vigilant; report hazards.
• Handle challenging situations with calm and professionalism.
• Contact emergency services when needed.
