On this role, you will manage the delivery of ClearBank’s employee relations approach, ensuring processes are fair, pragmatic, and aligned with our culture and values. This role focuses on providing case guidance, reporting, building manager capability, and contributing to a positive work environment through proactive ER practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on ER matters, including performance, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
- Assist in developing and maintaining ER policies, procedures, and toolkits that empower managers.
- Deliver training sessions and coaching to managers to build confidence in handling ER issues.
- Monitor ER case trends and provide regular reporting for the People Team.
- Keep up to date with employment legislation and support implementation of required changes.
- Use data insights to identify risk areas and recommend improvements to employee experience.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistency and compliance across all ER activities.
Skills & Experience (must-have)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
- Experience managing ER cases, including performance and disciplinary matters.
- Exposure to data-driven ER reporting and analysis.
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement in sensitive situations.
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in a regulated or high-growth environment.
- Knowledge of EU employment law and its practical application.
