Principal Software Engineer – Join a growing SaaS scale-up
Hybrid working – once a month onsite in Manchester
We’re currently partnered with a fast‑growing UK based SaaS scale‑up that operates in the B2B marketing space. They are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to remain hands‑on and build customer‑facing products.
In this hands‑on technical role, you’ll be involved from the initial design stage through to full implementation and will be working on new projects within Node.js, TypeScript and Vue – they are open to engineers with experience in React, so long as you’re happy to work with Vue on the frontend.
You’ll be joining a growing team where you’ll be influential on the product and will deploy code daily following a DevSecOps approach to work within a product‑driven environment to build new products for their customers’ needs.
What will you be doing
- Work closely with stakeholders on solution design, scoping and architecture
- Deliver high-quality production code as an individual contributor whilst supporting the team to help build and scale new products
- Contribute to architectural and technical decision‑making where you’ll be influential on the direction of the product
- Ensure quality, maintainability and operability of systems
- Support live products and troubleshoot production issues
