Project Engineer – South Wales
The role is a 3‑year fixed‑term contract, working 37.5 hours per week (Mon‑Fri) with weekends during outages.
Salary: approximately £75,000 per year, plus car allowance and participation in an annual bonus scheme, along with a range of benefits.

Responsibilities
Support and deliver engineering changes that increase Maximum Continuous Rating (MCR) across Energy Recovery Facilities.
Work with OEMs, contractors, site teams, and central engineering to develop technical solutions, integrate projects into outages, manage contractor performance, and ensure all changes meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Conduct site visits, HAZOP reviews, produce Management of Change documentation, and attend acceptance tests (including overseas).
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Strong engineering and maintenance knowledge in process or power industries.
- Understanding of pressure parts legislation and project management practices.
- Excellent communication, organisation, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing contractors and delivering complex engineering projects.
Desirable
- CMMS knowledge, ISO 55001 awareness, managerial qualification (ILM or equivalent).
