Do you have Mechanical qualifications and/or experience looking to join a national leader in the industry in a workshop position coupled with full Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic training? On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join this company in a stable permanent role. You will be required to work on modern equipment, maintain a good work‑life balance and have clear progression within their business.
The company is a multi‑million manufacturer of specialist plant and material‑handling equipment supplying to leading facilities. This role is available due to internal growth plans. It is a highly varied Monday‑Friday days‑based role out of their modern, fully equipped and local depot. You will be based on site providing service, maintenance, inspection and testing on a range of forklift machinery. This role would suit a forklift, mechanical or similar engineer looking to progress technically, receive multi‑skilled training and secure a job in a steady business.
The role.
- Maintenance, inspection and testing on access, material handling, forklift equipment.
- Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics involved.
- Monday‑Friday (8am – 4:30pm).
The person.
- Plant, forklift, REME, material handling, vehicle background.
- Any mechanical background welcomed.
- Commute to Leigh.
