CNC Sliding Head Programmer or Setter

Job Title: Citizen Sliding Head CNC Programmer or Setter Operator

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Hours: 38hrs per week – Mon–Thurs 8:00–17:00, Fri 8:00–13:00 (flexible if required)

Salary: £35,000–£45,000 DOE + overtime at 1.5x

About the Role

A leading precision engineering company is looking for a skilled Citizen Sliding Head CNC Programmer or Setter Operator to join their Tunbridge Wells team. The business supplies high-quality components to sectors including automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate Citizen sliding head CNC lathes.
• Produce precision components to exact specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production records.Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience on Citizen sliding head machines.
• Ability to program or set jobs efficiently.
• Strong understanding of precision engineering and tight tolerances.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.
