Application Engineer – Southampton

I am currently recruiting for an Application Engineer on behalf of a highly innovative, market‑leading company based in Southampton. The business develops cutting‑edge technology used across a wide range of sectors, including automotive, medical, consumer, and industrial markets.

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will play a key part in bridging the gap between technical development and customer engagement, working across multiple areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the sales team
• Develop proof of concept solutions for new products
• Troubleshoot and support customers with technical issues
• Contribute across various stages of the product and customer lifecycle

Requirements:

• Degree (or equivalent international qualification) in a STEM discipline
• Customer‑facing or technical support experience (or a strong interest in moving into this area)
• Hands‑on experience with electronic circuit design and debugging
• Previous application support experience is desirable

Location: Southampton (on‑site)

Salary: Up to £65,000
