Lead Java Engineer – Real-Time Payments & Kafka on Azure

Cognizant is seeking a Lead Java Engineer in Greater London to support a major Payments modernisation programme. This role involves designing and building a new event-driven platform, working closely with stakeholders on real-time FX flows.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in microservices architectures, Kafka, and cloud migration within Azure environments. This position is a hands-on lead role focused on low-latency, real-time systems.

The contract is fixed for 12 months.
