Description

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the financial planning models for use by the Head of Financial Planning & Corporate Reporting in planning processes.
  • Support the creation of annual budget and 30‑year financial plan inclusive of stress testing and mitigation analysis with the support of the Head of Financial.
  • Responsible for the creation of financial scenario modelling as and when requested by the Head of Financial Planning & Corporate Reporting.
  • Support in the group annual financial forecast return (FFR) submission for the Regulator of Social Housing.
  • Drive the coordination of Orbit Group’s annual budget process.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and support to business stakeholders including the Executive Team & Leadership members for corporate business areas.
  • Responsible for providing clear communication of the current financial position of monthly group management accounts and corporate costs centre to manage delivery in line with budget expectations.
  • Providing challenge, financial support and guidance to the business on various business initiatives including developing new products/services and disposals.
  • Use data held within the business and outside to drive insight to improve performance.

Profile

  • Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/ICAEW/equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a financial position, including significant experience of financial planning activity.
  • Strong IT skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and high level Excel skills.
  • Experience of BRIXX.
  • Investment appraisal/Financial modelling of commercial decisions.
