Technical/Professional Qualifications/Requirements
- Required:
- A good level of spoken and written English.
- At least two years’ relevant experience. Those with farm experience will be considered for farm audits, while those with processing experience may be assigned to processing plant audits, ensuring alignment between expertise and audit type.
- Desirable:
- Prior auditing experience in a relevant field (e.g. aquaculture, supply chain, animal welfare, food safety or environmental compliance).
- Lead Auditor/Assessor qualification (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 22000 etc.).
- Qualified to audit in a relevant scheme(s) such as MSC, ASC, GLOBALG.A.P., GSA BAP and SPS etc.
- A post‑high school diploma or equivalent (course duration ≥2 years) in a relevant discipline.
- Other relevant training such as in HACCP principles, social auditing or fish welfare.
- More than 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Second or subsequent languages (other than English).
Key Responsibilities
- Attain and maintain competence to audit in relevant certification scheme(s).
- Plan, carry out and document as appropriate assigned seafood audits or related tasks to a high standard and within KPIs.
