Financial Planning Analyst

FP&A Analyst | London | Up to £45K + Study Support

We are supporting a client in their search for an FP&A Analyst to join their growing finance team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who is looking to develop their FP&A experience within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The role offers strong exposure across financial analysis, forecasting, business partnering, and reporting, with excellent opportunities for long-term progression and development.

Location: London

Salary: Up to £45,000 + potential study support

Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the office

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
• Preparing financial analysis and reporting packs for key stakeholders
• Assisting with month-end activities and business performance reporting
• Working closely with operational teams to provide commercial insight and analysis
• Producing financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
• Supporting the maintenance and development of reporting systems and dashboards
• Assisting with data analysis and improving reporting processes through automation and technology

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is ideally studying towards ACCA or CIMA (part-qualified)
• Has previous experience within FP&A, management accounting, or a commercially focused finance role
• Has experience using SAP and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Has Power BI experience or a strong interest in developing technical reporting skills
• Is highly proficient in Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis
• Has strong communication and business partnering skills
• Is proactive, commercially minded, and willing to learn new systems and technologies
