Opportunity

Volta Circle is seeking an entrepreneurial and self‑directed early‑career investment professional to join as a Financial Analyst. The analyst will report directly to the Managing Partner, Catia Cesari, and will lead all internal finance operations, supporting investment activities and portfolio management. The individual will have the opportunity to work on investments through Volta Circle, as well as through the larger Lohia single‑family office, gaining access to a broad range of investment strategies and sectors.

Responsibilities

This is a wide‑ranging role that will expose you to the whole investment cycle, from sourcing to portfolio management. As a lean and globally distributed team, the ability to communicate and collaborate across functions and geographies, share knowledge, and contribute to Volta Circle’s broader goals are essential. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead financial analysis of companies in the pipeline, including rebuilding of P&L forecasts, valuation determination, and returns analysis;
  • Support due diligence processes and overall deal structuring;
  • Lead portfolio reporting including tracking company performance and preparing summaries;
  • Prepare high quality, internal presentations and related materials for Investment Committee meetings;
  • Support with startup sourcing, market research and in depth competitive landscapes;
  • Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership and thesis development.

Experience and Capabilities

  • 2–4 years work experience in investment banking, PE, consulting, VC or other similar experience;
  • Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills;
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills;
  • High attention to detail, flexible, collaborative, and willing to be involved in all aspects of the business;
  • Strong academic achievement with an undergraduate degree from a top institution;
  • Fluency in English required;
  • Strong interest in the circular economy, sustainability, and impact investing is a plus.

Location

This job requires the right to work in London, UK. This is a hybrid role, predominantly remote with the expectation to attend a London office space 2 times a week.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
