The role
As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of financial operations across a portfolio of international entities within your region.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining team management with commercial partnering and technical oversight. You will lead a team of in-country finance professionals while working closely with senior operational stakeholders to support decision-making and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a multi-country finance team, driving consistency and high standards
- Overseeing monthly management accounts, including review, validation, and variance analysis
- Ensuring statutory, tax, and audit compliance across jurisdictions
- Supporting group reporting and consolidation
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Acting as a trusted business partner to regional leadership, providing financial insight and challenge
- Strengthening financial controls and governance frameworks
- Driving process, systems, and reporting improvements
- Overseeing revenue processes and working capital management
Candidate profile
You are a qualified finance leader with experience operating across multiple entities and geographies, ideally within a mid-market, PE-backed or high-growth environment.
You will bring:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
- Experience managing multi-entity, international finance operations
- Strong grounding in financial control, reporting, and compliance
- A track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Experience leading and developing distributed teams
- A hands-on, adaptable approach suited to a scaling business
- Strong systems and analytical capability (ERP experience preferred)
