As Group Insurance Manager, you’ll play a central role in protecting PZ Cussons and our brands worldwide. This is the only dedicated insurance role in the Group, giving you real ownership of how we manage insurable risk, shape our global insurance programme and support good governance.

You’ll work closely with Legal, Risk, Finance, Procurement and business teams across our markets, helping the business make confident decisions in a complex global environment. It’s a role where your judgement, relationships and technical expertise will make a meaningful difference.

What you’ll be doing

  • Shape and manage a global insurance programme that protects the business, reflects our risk profile and supports our future growth.
  • Lead the insurance renewal cycle, bringing together the right data, insight and negotiation to secure appropriate cover and value.
  • Guide the business through claims, helping teams understand the process, gather evidence and reach the right outcomes.
  • Advise colleagues across Legal, Procurement and Operations on insurance requirements in contracts, tenders and supplier agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, insurers and service partners, making sure we get clear advice, strong service and commercial value.
  • Support crisis readiness by maintaining the Group Crisis Management Plan and helping teams prepare through simulations and local plans.

What you’ll bring

  • A strong understanding of global insurance markets, programme design and the way insurance supports business risk management.
  • Experience managing insurance renewals, claims, policy documentation and broker or insurer relationships.
  • Confident judgement when reviewing policy wording, cover limits, contractual insurance clauses and risk exposure.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills, with the ability to work well across functions, cultures and geographies.
  • A practical, organised approach, with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders and support teams through complex issues.
  • A degree or equivalent experience.
  • A recognised qualification in insurance or risk management (e.g. Chartered Insurance Institute or Institute of Loss Adjusters) would be helpful, but is not essential.

What you’ll get in return

  • Competitive annual bonus, pension, life assurance and Share Incentive Plan.
  • Private medical cover plus health & wellness support.
  • Flexible holiday options, including buy and accrual.
  • 1pm Friday finish for better work‑life balance.
  • Hybrid/electric car scheme, dental insurance, cycle to work & free mortgage advice.
  • Discounted and complimentary PZ products.
  • Onsite gym (where available).
