Overview

We’re looking for an Employee Benefits Account Broker (SME) to join our Leicester team. This is a varied and client-focused role, offering a mix of administrative support and the chance to manage your own portfolio of SME clients. You’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day running of client accounts, supporting colleagues while also taking ownership of your own clients.

You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of employee benefits, including Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plans, Dental Cover, and Group Risk, and be involved in the full client lifecycle – from onboarding and policy administration to renewals and ongoing servicing.

Our Employee Benefits team works with businesses of all sizes to design and implement benefits that genuinely support their people. From Private Medical Insurance to Health Cash Plans, Group Life cover, and wellbeing support, we help companies create packages that engage employees and stand out in a competitive market.

We combine technical expertise with a client-focused approach, providing clear guidance and excellent service all year round.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is keen to develop their career in Employee Benefits, enjoys client interaction, and is happy to learn and take ownership. The right person will have:

  • Strong communication skills – able to explain benefits clearly to clients and colleagues
  • Organisation and attention to detail – you can manage multiple tasks without missing a beat
  • Client-focused mindset – enjoys supporting clients and building positive relationships
  • Proactive attitude – looks for solutions and takes ownership of tasks
  • Team player approach – happy to collaborate and support colleagues

You may also have:

  • Experience in Employee Benefits, insurance, or related sectors
  • Knowledge of Acturis or other benefits administration systems
  • Exposure to Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plans, Dental Cover, or Group Risk
  • Broking or advisory experience in SME markets
