Refreshing are partnering with a leading events & media business to find a commercially-minded Senior FP&A Analyst to join their London finance team. This isn’t a “sit quietly in the corner updating reports” type of role — you’ll be right in the middle of the action, partnering with department heads, influencing decision-making, and working closely with the C-suite.
You’ll be the go-to person for turning numbers into stories, insights into action, and forecasts into strategy.
What you’ll be getting stuck into:
- Owning key parts of the budgeting & forecasting process
- Building slick financial models and presenting insights across the full P&L
- Preparing monthly board packs with commentary that actually means something
- Partnering with teams across the business to analyse performance, profitability & opportunities
- Investigating monthly variances and spotting trends before anyone else does
- Working alongside finance, ops & sales teams internationally to improve margins
- Supporting the CFO and leadership team on high-impact projects
- Driving efficiency improvements and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborating with BI & Commercial Ops to build PowerBI dashboards that help shape growth strategy
What we’re looking for:
- Strong modelling skills (you genuinely enjoy Excel)
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Someone proactive, curious and keen to make an impact
- Private equity experience would be a bonus.
