This role sits within a high‑performing Engineering team based in East Anglia, and we are expanding the team and looking for two new members to recruit permanent Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Managers across the Midlands region.
Salary: £37,670 – £42,930 + uncapped commission.
The Opportunity
We are hiring one Recruitment Consultant for permanent roles in the East Midlands and one for the West Midlands. This is a 360 recruitment role with a strong emphasis on business development and market growth.
Responsibilities
- Recruit permanent Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Managers across the East Midlands.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Conduct market mapping to identify key clients and talent pipelines.
- Build and maintain long‑term client and candidate relationships.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement.
- Develop specialist knowledge of the manufacturing engineering market.
- Meet revenue targets and contribute to team success.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong business development and sales capability.
- Experience in market mapping and identifying prospect opportunities.
- Confident communicator with a consultative approach.
- Commercially aware with a results‑driven mindset.
- Resilient, proactive, and self‑motivated.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
