Registered Care Home Manager – Family-Run Nursing Home

Location: Romsey, HampshireSalary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annumContract: Full-time | Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium‑size nursing home in Romsey, Hampshire. This opportunity invites an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to progress in their career. The appointed Manager will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care while maintaining operational excellence, team development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and day‑to‑day operational management
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
• Lead, develop and motivate the staff team
• Maintain high standards of care and resident experience
• Support occupancy growth and oversee assessments for prospective residents
• Manage staffing levels effectively while maintaining zero agency usage
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families and health‑care professionals
• Promote a positive, supportive and inclusive culture throughout the home

Requirements

• Experience managing within a nursing home setting
• Open to experienced Deputy Managers seeking progression
• Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of CQC standards and compliance
• Adaptable, resilient and hands‑on approach
• A genuine commitment to high‑quality, person‑centred care
• Nurse qualification not essential
