The role
Recruitment is one of the most commercially rewarding careers you can enter straight from university — but the business you join makes all the difference. As a graduate consultant at Radley James, you’ll work on live mandates across the fintech market, placing technology and business-critical talent into some of the most exciting companies in the world. Day to day you’ll be building market knowledge, managing relationships with candidates and clients, running end-to-end hiring processes, and ultimately closing deals.
You’ll learn to read people, handle pressure, negotiate, and think on your feet — skills that will compound throughout your career. The days are demanding, the learning curve is steep, and the rewards are real.
Progression and training
We invest heavily in our graduate intake. From day one you’ll receive structured training, close mentorship from senior consultants, and a clear path to progression. The results speak for themselves. One of our graduates was promoted to full billing consultant within five months of joining. Others have made it into our top five billers companywide with under two years’ experience. The ceiling here is yours to set.

We don’t require a specific degree subject or prior experience in recruitment. What we do require is intelligence, energy, and genuine ambition.
