Section Engineer

Overview

Section Engineer – Civil Engineering – Coventry. Salary £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) with a £4,500 car allowance or company car. We are a well‑established civil engineering contractor delivering lasting impact across the sector.

Role

The role involves leading a section of works on a £30 million highway scheme in Coventry, including roundabout widening, lane additions, and pedestrian/cycle facilities. You will oversee work plans, ITPs & QAs, and support junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering Civil Engineering schemes as a Section Engineer.
• Experience on a Main Contractor or Regional Contractor.
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent (preferable).
• ICT skills – AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Problem‑solving skills.
• CSCS card.
• Based in, or able to commute to, the Coventry area.
