Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wormwood Scrubbs, category B Prison located in West London.
Hours
The site currently offers a 24‑hour service with shift patterns Monday‑Friday 8:30am‑4:30pm, with some ad hoc weekends required. This is a full‑time position, with an annual salary up to £52,790 per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and deliver all pharmacy operational services including dispensary services and treatment rooms.
- Lead the team of pharmacy support workers in day‑to‑day provision of pharmacy services.
- Work with the Pharmacist to ensure the service is represented by staff in a professional manner at all times.
- Promote a safe service and work closely with all Prison Healthcare Team members to meet the needs of patients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Available to newly qualified pharmacists and beyond.
- Management and leadership experience.
- Procurement and audit experience (desirable).
- Relevant post‑qualifying experience working within a pharmacy environment.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience of working within a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Ideal: experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
