Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Learning Disabilities Specialty Doctor to work with an NHS Trust in the South East. This full‑time locum position is based in an inpatient setting working on a 7‑bedded unit.
The role is set to begin ASAP and will last for a 3‑month initial contract with an option to extend afterwards, offering an hourly rate between £50 – £55. Please note that this position is inside IR35 payment guidelines.
Schedule
Proposed working hours of Monday–Friday, 40 hours a week. Part‑time hours will also be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
Provide specialist learning disabilities medical care within an inpatient unit; support patient assessments, treatment planning, and clinical management; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; document and review patient progress.
Qualifications
Learning Disabilities Specialty Doctor experience; S12 is desirable.
