Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Leeds (LS14). Salary: £55,000 – £65,000. Bonuses: Included. Type: 2‑Bed EBD Home (New Provision). Employment type: Full Time | Permanent.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a service from the ground up, with strong backing already in place. The home is a detached property with a good‑sized garden, designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people with emotional and behavioural needs. With an RI already in place and an existing relationship with the local authority, you’ll be stepping into a well‑supported and strategically positioned service ready for registration and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the registration process with Ofsted and ensure full compliance.
- Develop and implement all core documentation (SOP, policies, risk assessments).
- Build, recruit and lead a high‑performing staff team.
- Embed a therapeutic, trauma‑informed care model.
- Ensure the home meets and exceeds Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with the local authority and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Registered Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
- Proven track record of Ofsted compliance and inspection readiness.
- Experience in EBD settings.
- Strong leadership, staffing and service development experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
