Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This role focuses on managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing client relationships, and sourcing high-quality candidates.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting within engineering or finance sectors, or a strong interest in developing expertise within these markets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and win new business opportunities within target industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Understand client hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
Candidate Management
- Source, attract, and engage high-calibre candidates using multiple channels
- Conduct interviews, screening, and skills assessments
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process
Account Management
- Maintain and grow existing client accounts
- Ensure high levels of service delivery and client satisfaction
- Provide market insights and hiring advice to clients
Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the full 360 recruitment process from role qualification to placement
- Write and advertise job specifications
- Coordinate interviews and manage offer negotiations
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a sales / business development role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to build relationships with both clients and candidates
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience recruiting within engineering or finance sectors
- Knowledge of technical roles, financial markets, or industry-specific terminology
- Existing client network or market specialisation
