Role Overview
Position: Shopper Marketing Lead (FTC 12 Months) – THG Nutrition | Myprotein.
This is an exciting opportunity to join MyProtein on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. In this high‑visibility role, you will take charge of Shopper Marketing driving growth on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: develop and execute the Shopper Marketing strategy for retail divisions, ensuring alignment with our 5‑year plan and commercial targets.
- Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and results.
- Drive the retail expansion project across bricks and mortar in traditional shopper marketing retailers.
- Grow the offline and online presence for our nutrition and clothing ranges with key retailers.
- Execute the partnership model for food‑to‑go outlets.
- Manage the customer investment budget and portfolio across all retailers, delivering an ROI‑driven strategy for all in‑store executions.
- Work with specialist shopper agencies to create new and disruptive in‑store solutions.
- Work with the licensing teams to execute the launch of new partnerships and grow existing partnerships by leveraging brand strengths to excite consumers and achieve contractual sales targets through strategic marketing levers.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the project lead for the business in this area, confidently presenting to customers and senior leadership (SLT) and managing relationships with internal and external creative and shopper agencies.
Person Specification
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Brand Marketing or shopper/retail marketing.
- Proven experience in setting Shopper Marketing strategy.
- Exceptional presenting skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent PowerPoint design skills and a keen visual eye.
- Strong commercial understanding with experience managing budgets and demonstrating ROI.
- Must be a confident and accountable leader, comfortable taking total ownership of projects from concept to completion.
Preferred Requirements
- Merchandising experience is a bonus.
- Experience working in the FMCG, CPG, or health and wellness sectors.
- A strong interest in the sports and nutrition market.
- Experience managing and developing a team.
