We are looking for a Chief of Staff to the CMO to bring focus, momentum, and operational excellence to our marketing organization. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role for someone energized by pace, problem‑solving, and building in complex, fast‑moving environments, with a genuine passion for marketing as a growth driver.
Responsibilities
- Support marketing strategy and planning, translating business priorities into clear plans, goals, and roadmaps across the marketing organization.
- Highlight trade‑offs and options to deliver greater impact.
- Identify and structure problems, analyze options, and drive clear recommendations.
- Help the team capitalize on their largest opportunities.
- Partner closely with the CMO and marketing leadership to support prioritisation, preparation for key forums, and follow‑through on decisions and actions.
- Run the marketing operating rhythm, including planning cycles, leadership meetings, business reviews, and goal tracking, keeping momentum as priorities shift.
- Drive execution across fast‑moving, cross‑functional initiatives by coordinating inputs, managing dependencies, and unblocking issues under tight deadlines.
- Act as a connector across functions, working closely with Product, Commercial, Finance, Data, and People teams to ensure alignment and progress.
- Help strengthen data‑led decision‑making, supporting how insights, performance metrics, and results inform priorities and trade‑offs.
- Improve operational excellence by bringing structure to processes, documentation, ways of working, and reporting.
- Enable clear communication and alignment by synthesising information and preparing leadership updates and materials as needed.
- Drive technology adoption and skills in the marketing team, championing AI and Agentic Commerce across the organization.
- Identify projects, work with the marketing leadership team, and ensure we improve our technology skills organization‑wide.
- Support the budget process, own the annual marketing budget by function and by region, and drive debate and alignment in budget setting, measurement, and governance.
- Detail the approach to regional and global management best practice and serve as the single point of contact with the Finance Business Planning team.
- Support the marketing talent development process throughout the lifecycle of talent, from attraction through development and mobility.
- Set talent level frameworks with the HR Business Partner, drive goal setting, calibration, and bi‑annual performance management processes with leaders.
- Support the CMO at external presentations and key stakeholder meetings, including with investors and shareholders.
