The Role

We’re seeking a Head of Organic Social Media to define and lead Marquee TV’s organic social strategy, establishing a clear north star, measurable impact, and a scalable content system that drives subscriber growth and engagement and builds cultural authority.

Project Objectives

  • Define the social media north star goals and establish the purpose of social media in supporting business, marketing and editorial goals
  • Define success metrics and measurement framework
  • Align social media KPI’s to subscriber growth and audience engagement
  • Identify priority subscriber and audience segments (consumer and industry)
  • Identify amplification opportunities across the arts ecosystem as well as the wider media and entertainment landscape
  • Review and recommend a channel strategy – define the role of each channel (Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn) along with recommendations and objectives for each channel
  • Develop a content system/playbook (pillars, formats, templates, creative guidelines/rules)
  • Review the brand tone for cultural authority and make improvements
  • Define publishing cadence and production workflow
  • Establish community management principles

This is a high-impact, strategic project with the opportunity to continue in a fractional capacity.

Requirements

  • 6+ years leading social strategy for subscription, media, or cultural brands
  • Proven success driving subscriber growth and engagement through organic social
  • Deep understanding of attention strategy and scalable content systems
  • Strong expertise in measurement, performance tracking, and attribution frameworks
  • Hands‑on familiarity with tools including GA4, Looker Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, and YouTube Analytics

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of the performing arts and wider arts industry
  • Cultural literacy, with a genuine passion for arts and culture
