Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Food Manufacturing | £49,000 – £52,000 | Days (7am-4pm, flexible)

The Role

• Lead and support a small team of 2 engineers.
• 70/30 split – electrically biased, hands‑on role.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sensors, relays, drives, single‑phase and three‑phase motors, and food production machinery.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement across the site.

Requirements

• Electrical qualifications (essential).
• Food/FMCG manufacturing background (essential).
• Strong fault‑finding and maintenance experience.
• Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands‑on.

Training & Progression

• Some training provided.
• Limited progression structure currently, but opportunity to shape the role.

Package

• Salary: £49,000 – £52,000.
• Hours: 7am – 4pm (flexibility required).
• Shift Pattern: Days only.
• Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays.
• Pension: NEST scheme.
• Healthcare: Available after 1 year.
• Overtime/Shift Allowance: None.
