Field Service Engineer – Digital; Inkjet printing

Responsibilities:

• Fault investigation, escalation and resolution.
• Preventive maintenance servicing.
• Installations.
• Extended support.
• On‑site and remote customer support.
• Paperwork, administration, and procedures.
• Exhibition support.
• Communication.

Key Tasks:

• Repair.
• Installation.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Remote support.
• Paperwork.
• Training.
• Technical website update and review.
• Travel in the UK and overseas in the EMEA periodically.
• Factory liaison.
• Testing and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Electro‑mechanical HND or relevant industry experience.
• Full driving licence and passport.
• Product and industry knowledge including Wide Format, Inkjet, Digital Print.
• IT and print related applications.
• Experience with Windows operating system.
• Training and presentation skills.
• Problem‑solving abilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile: Hardware electro‑mechanical engineer with an inkjet printing background, including fault investigation and resolution, escalation and preventative maintenance. Previous experience in a digital printing environment and good all‑round IT skills required.
