Salary: up to £38,800 per annum
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
About The Role
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large site in Staffordshire ST14. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical systems within a modern commercial environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and building services equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Fault-finding and remedial repairs on pumps, motors, HVAC systems, pipework, and associated plant equipment.
- Work alongside electrical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.
Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical plant and systems.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a maintenance team.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
