Overview

Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial cleaning equipment, planning to expand the business further. This offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of service and repair on all industrial cleaning equipment ensuring the delivery of a world class service experience.
• Be a custodian of the brand at all times and demonstrate the business’s values.
• Regular communication with Regional Service Manager and Schedulers.
• Maintain, accurately diagnose and repair the full range of industrial cleaning equipment including municipal platform competency.
• Control van stocks in accordance with customer base.
• Daily communication with Regional Scheduler.
• Identify and communicate sales leads.
• Maintain tools and equipment to a satisfactory and safe condition.
• Participate in on-job coaching with Regional Service Manager.
• Ensure relevant Service KPI’s and SLA’s are met.
• Ownership of service reporting tasks.
• Full responsibility for company assets.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels specific to area.
• Maintain senior accreditation status.
• Full understanding of local maintenance contract terms and conditions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer working in mechanical/electrical roles.
• Other backgrounds considered: Plant, Material Handling/FLT’s, Agricultural Equipment, HGV/LGV or mechanical/electrical field service roles from within the industry.
• Experience with batteries, hydraulics, pneumatics and engines.
• Full driving licence.
