Validation Engineer
Location: Bristol – Onsite
Edison Smart is working with a Semiconductor business specialising in wireless technologies. We are looking for a Staff Engineer to develop advanced semiconductor solutions powering digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate advanced semiconductor solutions powering digital infrastructure.
- Perform high-speed validation and test high-speed optical components, modules or ICs.
- Conduct lab-based testing to validate next-generation semiconductor devices.
- Generate test equipment automation software using LabVIEW or Python.
- Apply knowledge of high-speed signal integrity using Altium and PCB tools.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in high-speed validation and related testing methodologies.
- Experience testing high-speed optical components, modules, or ICs.
- Strong lab-based testing skills for semiconductor devices.
- Proficiency in test equipment automation software (LabVIEW or Python).
- Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity and PCB tooling (Altium).
