We are seeking an experienced Highways Maintenance Engineer to join us on an ongoing contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of highway projects from inception to completion through the application of specialist skills.
• Conduct inspections and surveys, feasibility and options studies, project management and financial control, design, site supervision and contract management.
• Deliver complex projects or work programmes simultaneously, ensuring effective budgetary control of individual schemes.
• Undertake statutory duties such as managing the council’s highway infrastructure and associated assets, bridges and land drainage, in compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
