Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Glasgow

Position: Mechanical Maintenance EngineerType: PermanentBasic: up to £42,000Location: Glasgow

We are recruiting for a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer based in the Glasgow area covering the maintenance of a large‑scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance etc. The role is a permanent position paying up to £42,000 basic and based on a continental shift pattern. Week one – 2 days on, 2 off, and 3 on. Week two – 2 days off, 2 on, and 3 off. Shifts from 6am to 6pm

Responsibilities

• Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to Mechanical Plant room
• Pumps and valves
• Plumbing maintenance
• Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
• Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
• Small works installation
• Emergency repairs
• All ad‑hoc maintenance tasks

Requirements

• A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial grade plumber
• Experience of plant room, AHU’s, FCU’s etc.
• Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent client facing skills
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
• Willing and ability to pass a PVG check
